Adrienne Lucas was born October 6, 1967, in John Andrews Hospital in Tuskegee,
Al. to Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Lucas Sr. of Shorter, Al.
Ms. Lucas attended the D.C. Wolfe elementary and High Schools in Shorter, Al.
Where she excelled in her general studies, she was a member of the JROTC,
SECME (Southeastern Consortium for Black Minorities in Engineering) and a
member of the D.C. Wolfe Marching band, where she played the clarinet.
After high school Ms. Lucas attended Southern Technical College,
class of 1990, earning an Associate Degree in Computer Technology,
while working at the Macon County Dog Racing Track in the Money room.
She attended the College of Continuing Studies, class of 2002, at the
University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Al.
Ms. Lucas is currently attending Alabama State University,
in the Department of Criminal Justice. She’s the proud mother of three
wonderful children, a son (12) and a twin boy and girl (8). She’s a
member of the Alabama Municipal Court Clerks and Magistrates Association,
The League of Municipalities, Jobs Task force and she’s the
Secretary/Treasurer for the Shorter Community Outreach Program.
She has been employed with the Shorter Municipal Court since April 1997.
Her hobbies include spending time with the children, movies, comedy,
football, basketball and just relaxing.
She attends the New Hope No. #2 Baptist Church, in Shorter, Al.,
where she’s a member of the church Choir.
She also sings with a local gospel group called the Shorter Inspirational Voices.
